Fátima
Fatima is a city known for its account of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary reported by the three Little Shepherds. Due to all its history and all its religion, this city has become one of the most important religious tourism destinations receiving more than six million people per year. Fatima is now considered the host city of the Race and Walk for Peace, as there are thousands of pilgrims coming from various regions of Portugal and abroad.
The Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima, Chapels of the Apparitions, the Wax Museum and the Museum of Sacred Art, are the most visited places. All these scenarios are very realistic because they portray the history of Catholicism and Jesus.
